The conference, co-organised by the Association of Non-Ferrous Metal Engineers and Technicians, Łukasiewicz Research Network – the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and ZGH ‘Bolesław’ S.A., is dedicated to technological issues regarding metallurgy of copper and non-ferrous metals, processing and manufacture of new materials based on non-ferrous metals, as well as metallurgy of zinc and lead. Each of these disciplines is characterised by its specific nature; nonetheless, the key problems are common in this context:
SESSION 1
09.00 – 11.00
Innovative technologies in metallurgy of copper and associated metals
SESSION 2
11.15 – 12.45
New materials and processing of non-ferrous metals
12.45 – 14.00
LUNCH BREAK
SESSION 3
14.00 – 15.30
Innovative technologies in metallurgy of zinc and lead
15.30 – 16.00
CLOSING SESSION
Chair – dr. Zygmunt Krasiński, president of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology
Each session will be finished with a panel discussion featuring notable Polish and foreign experts, where the participants are supposed to seek answers to the question what the current condition of technologies in the non-ferrous metal industry is worldwide and in Poland, as well as how the research and development works and implementations of innovative technologies should be oriented in this industry in order to obtain maximum economic and environmental benefits.
