Christoph Borst
Senior Vice President R&D at KUKA
Christoph Borst received his Computer Science Degree from TU Munich in 1998. He started his career in Robotics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen where his research focused on robotic grasping and manipulation. During this time, he participated in numerous European Research Projects, authored, and co-authored more than 100 publications in this area. In 2015 he joined KUKA to bring advanced robot manipulation to industrial robotics. Today he drives as Senior Vice President R&D the development of the Robot Operating Systems of KUKA together with his team. Within the iiQKA Program he is also responsible for the overall software architecture of future robot operating system for all KUKA robots.
