Prof. Tauno Otto is a Professor at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) since 2010. At the University, he serves also as the Head of Development of the School of Engineering, and leads Estonian national research roadmap initiative: Smart Industry Centre (SmartIC). At EU level he is active in ManuFuture High Level Group, EuroXR Executive Committee, and Made In Europe Partnership Board. His primary research interest areas are related to digitalisation of industry (Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0/5.0, digital twins).
