Prof. Peter Galambos

Prof. Peter Galambos received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He is the director and associate professor of the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics and deputy director of the University Research and Innovation Center of Obuda University, Budapest. He is also active as an entrepreneur as the co-founder and CTO of the MaxWhere 3D productivity software. He was a research intern at the Toshiba Corporate Research and Development Center from 2007 to 2008, then joined the Institute for Computer Science and Control of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA-SZTAKI). From 2011 to the end of 2015, he served as a team leader in MTA SZTAKI and coordinated the development of the VirCA VR system and its research applications. His research interest include: advanced industrial robotics and control systems, cyber-physical systems, and virtual reality.
