WROCŁAW UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CONGRESS CENTRE

Wrocław University of Science and Technology Congress Centre is a modern building situated on the premises of the Main University Campus. It is a perfect location for organising academic or scientific conferences, symposiums or discussion panels. The building boasts Congress Hall offering a fully equipped multimedia facility, with the area of over 700 square metres and more than 600 seats, which is simultaneously one of the largest congress halls of this kind in Lower Silesia.

The Congress Centre is located near Plac Grunwaldzki, an important commercial site of Wrocław, situated just a 15-minute walk from Ostrów Tumski, the most historical part of the town. At the same time, the Congress Centre is situated 25 minutes away from the Wrocław Market Square with Poland’s biggest Town Hall, 5 minutes away from ‘Polinka’ Cable Car, which, in turn, allows for reaching ‘Hydropolis’ Water Knowledge Centre.

Numerous attractions of Wrocław are situated within a relatively short walking distance from the Congress Centre: Juliusz Słowacki Park with the famous painting Panorama of the Battle of Racławice (12 minutes), the National Museum with its rich collection of gothic Silesian art (12 minutes), the Wrocław Zoo with its renowned Africarium (15 minutes) and the National Forum of Music – one of the largest and most modern concert venues in Poland (20 minutes).

The Congress Centre is situated in a perfect location in terms of numerous transportation links and connections – 3.2 kilometres from Wrocław Główny (railway station and bus station) and 15 kilometres from Copernicus Airport Wrocław.

Within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar, Wrocław University of Science and Technology organised lectures of world-famous scientists and scholars, including professor Klaus von Klitzing, a winner of the Nobel Prize in physics.

Moreover, the 15th International Conference Transport System Telematics, the European and Central Europe Technology Forum, KoNaR International Robotic Arena, IT Academic Day, Eurofi Financial Forum, the International Pharmaceutical Congress, Thermodynamics Specialists Conventions, the European University Association Autumn Conference and many other scientific events at European level were also organised on the premises of Wrocław University of Science and Technology Congress Centre.
